Mediation
Interpersonal difficulties in the workplace impact on individual and group performance with negative outcomes such as reduced job satisfaction, reduced productivity and forms of sabotage between individuals. D’Accord OAS has a number of highly skilled counsellors experienced in providing mediations services and conflict resolution, available to provide on and off-site mediation services.
There are generally two phases to the process – individual sessions and a joint meeting.

Training sessions vary in length
- Introduction to mediator
- Explanation of mediation process
- Confidentiality agreement
- Terms under which the mediation will be conducted – Agreement to participate
- Summary of issues from participant
- Preparation for the joint exploration session
Mediation and follow up
- Focus on the options for resolution
- Brainstorm and assist in the identification of options
- Assist participants to make informed and workable choices
- Reality test the options and agreements
- Document the final agreement
- Monitoring plan
